Welcome to Cimmerian Airsoft, a breed of airsoft that combines Military Simulation (mil-sim), Combat re-enactment and pure adrenaline into operations that will immerse you into combat scenarios unlike anything in the world.

We would like to encourage all Airsoft enthusiasts to support the Special Operations Warrior Foundation as we do.  We are putting on op NIGHTCAP on 14-16 october 2011 as a benefit op for the fine special operators who gave their loves on 6 aug 11 as part of a QRF in support of a rangers platoon that was in heavy contact and pinned down.  If you can't make it to the op - DONATE!

The Cimmerian Airsoft Association (CAA) has been operating continuously for 18 years now
,  and I am proud to continue the tradition and heritage as the new Detachment Commander sworn into command 26JUN10. I follow in the footsteps of my brothers Kirk Denebeim, Matt Fisher and Jason Cobleigh and thank them for their leadership and continued tireless support of our organization.

The CAA is a group of like-minded individuals that share a passion for the military and the rich history that surrounds it. Every month, rain snow or shine, we put on an operation on the third weekend, some being one day ops to full weekend immersive experiences. Regardless of the duration or scope, we engage in significant research, planning and development for each operation. Our primary goal is to put you in the boots of a soldier so you can face the same decisions and similar challenges, to give you a brief taste of what a combat soldier experiences every day.

Over the years our organization has been capable of great feats when pushing the bar of what is possible in airsoft. We brought together a 5 HMMWV chain to pay homage to the Battle in Mogadishu (made famous by the movie Blackhawk Down), assembled multiple snow-mechanized units such as snowmobiles, snow-quads and ski-borne troops, and 7 times we produced the Delta Thunder series highlighting water operations including boats, combat swimmers, and island-to-island combat. This year our first ever Helo borne  RECON team inserted and extracted by Bell Jet Ranger helicoppter. We continue to find new ways to bring the work of our hero soldiers to the front of the hearts and minds of the public at large. These brave men deserve that and so much more.

In our recent past the CAA has begun answering to a higher calling, finding new ways to honor our troops and the service they do for our country. In 2008 we completed our transformation into a 501c(3) 509(a)2 public charity. With this, all of your donations are now eligible for tax deductions. This means that for every dollar you give to the CAA, more than 75% of that goes to a military foundation that directly supports military families. These are families that have paid the ultimate sacrifice with their soldier dying for our nation. These are our brothers, men, our soldiers, and these donations go toward helping what they are no longer here to provide.

We encourage you to support the military benefit organization of your choice, and invite you to come out and experience Cimmerian Airsoft. It’s the best way in airsoft to help military families while doing what you love most. You will be a part of something larger, and become involved in a legacy that we are forging with every great op every third weekend of the month. I look forward to seeing you in the field, and leave you with this:

…. except for the bullet in the chamber, this is as real as it gets.

Ooftah!
