OP Barbarossa Red a WW2 scenario set in Stalingrad, December 1942. German forces of the 6th Army have taken control of 90% of the city but now face a dynamic counter attack by the Red Army. This OP will focus on the progress of a German Platoon through the brutal fighting of the Battle of Stalingrad for The Factory. After having half their number wiped out and after being placed under the command of a sadistic Captain, the Lieutenant of the platoon leads his men take and defend The Factory at all costs. Red Army attacks begin to break the wehrmacht resolve and the Factory teeters in the balance. The Platoon will attempt to escape from the Factory which is now surrounded by the Soviet Army. Arctic tab qualifying for Cimmerians. Primary AO is in the Virginia City area. Secondary AO Classified i80 location. This is a 2 Day OP with a single communal GP tent for arctic lodgings and simple communal food for chow.
