OP: BLUE BOLT - 15th Mar 2008
genre : Combat
AO :
Stampede
OPCOM : CPT Jason Cobleigh
Norway, Finland and USSR borders, circa 1975. The Soviets have positioned a SAM battery well into Finnish Territory. The battery threatens NATO arctic doctrine. This has happened three times between 1962 and 1979 (it stopped with the death of Brezhnev), in 1976, Russians brought down a Norwegian RC-135 over Kola Peninsula with an SA-6, fired from within Finnish territory, and then blamed Finns for the incident.

Mission Objectives:

o Snow borne patrol techniques
o Find and Neutralise the missile battery
o Setup AAA Battery and defend it
o CSAR and EVAC as needed
