After the death of Tito, in 1980, the Serbian Republic started to re-assert its grip on Kosovo. Kosovar Albanians were labeled as "nationalists and separatists" and many were arrested or sent fleeing. In 1983, first signs of guerilla activity appeared as the Albania saw this as an opportunity to destabilize the Kosovo province of former Yugoslavia. Transfers of arms and materiel started to flow across the porous border crossing the mountainous terrain of Mt. Sar in Southern Kosovo. The Serbian border troops started to come into frequent contacts with the much famed KLA....

Combat Operations

Uniforms:
Yugoslav - OD woolen fatigues with snow camo tops and Tito-cap (German overseas cap will do).
Kosovar - Mixture of WW2 relics (i.e. splintertarn), Alpenflage and OD jackets (e.g. Czech civil defence jacket is the closest approximate) with white skull caps.
BBs/AMMUNITION
As always, all operators must use Excel Biodegradable BBs in either 0.2g or 0.25g. NO OTHER BB IS PERMITTED due to environmental impact issues. Operators who are discovered using any other type of BB will be immediately ejected from the AO and will not be invited to participate in future operations.
Excel Biodegradable BBs in 0.2g and 0.25g weights are usually available for sale at the AO for $15 per bag.
